Software Releases

The Lion Release , i.e. the first stable release of CASPAR Key Components, has been published on 31 July 2008.

The Tiger release and the Panther release are the two other CASPAR official releases, foreseen respectively for November 2008 and March 2009.

Licenses

CASPAR key component software is distributed with the GNU LGPL license.

CASPAR key component documentation is distributed with the Creative Commons Attribution Non-commercial Share Alike license (by-nc-sa).

The only exception is for the PDS component: PDS interfaces and client are distributed with Common Public License or BSD license, PDS server (executable) will eventually be placed on alphaworks (an IBM site that enables public download of software).
