We are the National Library of China, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China. We have joined CASPAR to study the experience and technology of other countries, and contribute our own experience and technology.
Since 1994, we began to try the library's digital collections and digitize for archives in 1999.
We have started a study of China's first national digital library project in 1997.
We started a digital library project of the National Library building project in 2000.
The new library and digital library system will test run in 2008.
