The amount of digital data being produced across various disciplines is increasing at an exponential rate, but this information may not be around for future generations because the data are often incompatible with rapidly changing technologies and become unreadable. To address this risk, ESA is assisting a European-Union backed project for the preservation of fragile digital information.

Just a quick note to let you know that Scientific Frontline has stepped up our campaign to inform about the CASPAR project. In the last couple of days we have contacted several major universities to enlighten, inform, and request their support of the CASPAR project.
We will inform you of any progress from this campaign. Those interested in learning more about the project should use the linked banner below. A new article regarding CASPAR is in the works and should be released later this week.
