Northeast Document Conservation Center

The Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC) is the largest nonprofit, regional conservation center in the United States, specializing in the preservation of paper-based materials since 1973. NEDCC’s Conservation Labs provide conservation treatment for books, documents, maps, photographs, parchment, architectural plans, and works of art on paper. The Center’s Imaging Lab provides preservation microfilming, photograph duplication, and high quality digitization of visual materials.

NEDCC’s Field Service Office offers consultations and surveys, and a 24-hour disaster assistance hotline. NEDCC presents educational workshops and conferences on a variety of preservation topics. The Center has been at the forefront of providing current, essential information on the creation, management, and preservation of digital assets by presenting conferences on the subject at locations across the U.S. since 1995.
